Our aim is to gather as many CLEAN items of clothing as possible to distribute among the 600 migrants that we will be hosting on our MLK event.

Many participants are engaging their whole building, their workplaces, their friendship groups, etc. to gather as many items as possible before 16th Jan 2023.

WE NEED CLEAN:

Coats, and adult’s and children’s practical day wear, rucksacks etc.

BRAND NEW – Underwear and socks (not used or pre-worn, even if washed).

WE DON’T NEED – party wear, evening wear, high heeled shoes, books, kitchen items, household items, etc. Please don’t donate items of this nature as it creates extra work for our volunteers to re-donate them.

YOU CAN DROP THEM OFF AT 6th St Community Center, 638 East 6th St (6th between B and C), 10009:

 

• Monday (Jan 9th) to Friday(Jan 13th) 11am – 4 pm
• Sunday Jan 15th ( 8 am – 4pm)
  

 

Note that we only give tax receipts for cash donations. We do not offer tax receipts for in kind donations/clothes drop offs. Thank you.
